The building provides a theatre auditorium, art gallery, conference venue, restaurant with local Welsh cuisine, a bar, and community spaces. The rehearsal studio, which doubles as a conference room, is capable of seating 150 people.
The venue attracts acts ranging from stand up comedians to folk singers and full orchestras, both national and international. It has also been a venue for parts of the Brecon Jazz Festival weekend.

Seating up to 556, conference style, the auditorium also has a sound loop for hearing impaired attenders. The gallery-bar can be used as a small meeting area, an exhibition space or for refreshments.
