Ystradgynlais Library has 3 well equipped meeting rooms for you to hire, as well as individual work and study desks in the co-working room. We also offer a small Meeting Pod suitable for up to 4 people.

Tawe is good size room for meetings and small events. It can hold a maximum of 20 people.
Room can be configured with seating and lecturn as pictured, or with up to 3 tables around the sides or in the centre of the room.
A large internet-connected Smart Screen is available on request, along with a range of additional equipment for meetings or training events – scroll down for details.
Voluntary/Educational: £15 per hour and £30 for 3-hour bookings
Other Organisations: £20 per hour and £50 for 3-hour bookings
Twrch is suitable for up to 4 people, and includes a meeting desk as well as a side table with relaxed seating.
There is a wall-mounted Smart Screen for video meetings and an Obsbot webcam if required.
Twrch is particularly well-suited for people attending interviews or NHS AttendAnywhere appointments.
Suitable as a meeting room for up to 4 people.
There are 2 tables which can be arranged as one meeting table or 2 work desks.
Book whole room or a single work desk.
Includes a height-adjustable workstation for sit/stand use or wheelchair access.

The Meeting Box is a private space for up to 4 people, and is ideal for small or online meetings, or as a quiet work or study space.
Voluntary/Educational: £7.50 per hour and £20 for 3-hour bookings
Other Organisations: £10 per hour and £30 for 3-hour bookings
Giedd & Meeting Box: Individual Work/Study desk: £5 per half day, or £10 for full day, when booked in advance. Free on a drop in basis if room is not in use
Twrch & Meeting Box: Individuals attending medical appointments, advice sessions, or interviews: Free of charge
Main Library: There are 2 study desks with task lighting available within the main library, free of charge

The CleverTouch screen is popular for club activities, meetings and training events.
You can use it to stream videos, join or present online meetings, and it’s great for training courses too.
The large touchscreen is Internet-enabled, with a built-in Windows PC, and you can also connect a laptop or share content from a smartphone or tablet.
If you intend to use the Clever Touch for online meetings, please request a separate Obsbot camera/microphone when you make the booking.
The screen is on a height-adjustable, movable stand.
CleverTouch hire: £20 per half day, bookable in advance
High definition (4K) webcam / microphone with a 90 degree field of view, and optional auto-tracking.
Good for recording video presentations or presenting in meetings – the Obsbot can be set track and follow the main speaker. It is also good for joining small hybrid meetings (ie 3 or 4 people in a room joining an online meeting) due to the 90 degree field of view and quality of microphone.
For use with a laptop or smart screen.
Included free as part of any room hire, we also have some Obsbots available to borrow on a weekly basis: £10 per week, must be booked in advance.

Compact all-in-one Video Bar with high definition (4K) webcam / microphone. Larger than the Obsbot webcam, the Studio X30 has a 120 degree field of view, and automatic group framing.
The Studio X30 is good for joining medium sized hybrid meetings (ie up to 6 people in a room joining an online meeting), with automatic group framing and a 15ft microphone pickup range, offering a professional meeting experience.
For use with a laptop or smart screen.
Must be booked at least one week in advance – request the Studio X30 Video Bar when making a room booking. £20 per half day.
A laptop is available to use in the library free of charge.
We also hire sets of 5 or 10 laptops for training courses, meetings or events. Laptop sets are for use in the library only and must be booked at least one week in advance, and as far ahead as possible to ensure availability. £50 per day for up to 5 laptops; £100 per day for between 5 and 10 laptops.
